Funny thing

First of all I apologize that there are no pictures of Leah on this post.. SOO SORRY!!

I know I haven't posted anything for a while but there is a reason behind it.... I'm tired, I'm busy and my laptop is not working right now because of it's graphics card so I haven't been able to do my leisure blogging in bed. Instead, I have to do it on my old desktop computer which is not so leisure.

Well Leah has officially turned 3 months old yesterday and is looking swell. She is darn cute and if it weren't for her cuteness I would be having major problems with the fact that she doesn't seem to ever go to sleep when we really need her to. We are working on that and have been having little success. Tonight might be the night... Who knows.

Yesterday I was able to help Sara out and accompany her and Leslie on a song they sang for Sara's Young Women New Beginnings. I thought it went really well and it was fun to see all of the cute little beehives and to see them so excited for what's to come.

Andrew and I went to the University of Utah ice skating rink with Leslie and her single's ward for an activity on Monday night. It was really fun but really crowded. It was funny to go to a ward activity where everyone is on the prowl for a spouse. It was funny. We had a good time and we are certain Sara had a good time for she happened to be the babysitter. Leah did so well and I'm very proud of her.

Well I was talking to my mom yesterday as we were both looking on our computers at silly pictures that we have on our computers that we don't look at on a regular basis so I decided to post a few.

This first one is of the kids, Zack, Madison, Arden and Kelsie. I can't believe how young they look and how crazy Zack is. He cracks me up!

Here he goes again.... CRACKING ME UP!!!

Yet again. I think he drew this picture of me in paint and left it for me to find one time when he slept over at my apartment in Rexburg. What a silly boy.... Sheesh!

Okay this is definately my favorite... I'm sure it's Leslie and Miranda's favorite too. OKay the story.... Andrew and I were living in New Mexico and I was reading the book "Lonesome Dove" to Andrew every night before we went to bed. He knows it's my favorite book so he decided one day to do this. He scanned in the actual DVD cover and had taken a picture of himself and used paint to replace Gus's face with his own. So he prints it out in color and puts it in the DVD case over the real one. He had done this all while I had been in the shower. He showed me and I about died. He was so proud of it and I couldn't stop laughing. OKay... the story continues.... that fall when Leslie, Miranda, and Andrew and I were all living at Sara's house, Andrew got the DVD out to show the girls. He was still really proud of it and was anxious to show the them. BUT, they happened to find it before he officially showed it to them so they decided to make thier own little changes. They printed off, in the same font mind you, the letters RK and placed it perfectly infront of the VE in DOVE. So it now reads "Lonesome Dork" . He teases them so much he totally deserved it. I'm so glad that they all get a long so well!!!!

This is of a little project my family had one summer for a ward picnic. It is a super dressed up pineapple. We were so proud of it and i'm not even sure if we won the final prize.

This picture is of me, Leslie and Miranda riding Ben's skooter. Yes.... the three of us going down Bott Lane. Crazy I know.

BEFORE WATCHING THE FOLLOWING CLIP MAKE SURE YOU ARE LISTENING TO "COTTON EYED JOE"!

This little film is of two of my favorite boys doing a good ol american Hoedown. Yeehaw!!!

NOW THAT YOU HAVE SEEN THE CLIP AND LISTENED TO THIS AWESOME SONG FEEL FREE TO LET LOOSE AND DO A LITTLE HOEDOWN YOURSELF. HEY!... LEAH AND I DID! :)

That was such a cute blog you just put up. I loved the reminiscing of the Lonesome Dork Days. Those were the days when we were all stuffed in the little house together and I loved the video of the 2 boys. Oh my gosh! How cute are they. I am sure I have seen the video before but I totally forgot about it.

Fun, Fun, Fun, and Big Dorky Fun. Lots of good pictures to look at and I love the zack pictures too. Check out my new pictures of Zack in the tractor. I think Gabe will really like them. Who knows, maybe he'll get to have a little ride soon.
