My Lists of Five

In response to Leslie and Sara's blog I will now be doing my lists of five.

5 Favorite Colors (as of right now)

1. Pepto Bismal Pink a.k.a. Old Fashioned Pink

You are probably saying, "um... that's not pink," and you would be right because this is PURPLE, the color Leah and Lily's room was before I painted it pink.

Oh.... much better!

I don't have all of the pictures and decor up yet but it's getting there. The crib is the one that Zachary and I used when we were wee babes.

2. Chocolate Brown and

3. White

5 Favorite Features in my New Home

1. Plants
We have to have them up high so Leah doesn't destroy them.

2. A Window Above my Kitchen Sink

3. Garden Where "Oats, Peas, Beans and Barley Grow"

Okay there are no oats or Barley, those are in the fields behind along with peppermint and spearmint. What I do in my garden are tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, spinach, carrots, potatoes, peppers, herbs, squash, pumpkin, zucchini, corn, and beans.

4. A Big Living and Dining Room Area

Set up for a dinner party for a certain somebody's birthday..... :)

5. A Large Lawn for Leah to roam and play in all she wants.

Notice the ditch is gone, so sorrry Miranda and Leslie, no more water fights or pranks on our moms. :)

5 Most Memorable Birthdays

1. Turning 7 Years Old- I had a friend party and for one of my presents I got Elky, my first dog. She was soo cute!

2. Turning 8 Years Old- I had a the cutest cake, it was the Belle cake off of Beauty and the Beast. I also got baptized of course!

3. Turning 20 Years Old-Grandpa Jorgensen, Whitney, Leslie and Madison came from Utah to visit and to celebrate my birthday.

Despite her terrible sunburn, Leslie made me a delicious carrot cake.

4. Turning 22 Years Old- We were in New Mexico and we had a poolside party with all of our fellow construction workers in our hotel.

It was interesting to say the least.

5. Turning 25 Years Old- Yesterday!! We had a wonderful BBQ/dinner party at our house. We had BBQ chicken, watermelon, baked potatoes, corn on the cob, spinach salad and for dessert, huckelberry cheesecake! It was all really good thanks to the help of Andrew and my mom.

The guests, Grandma and Grandpa Baum, Mom and Dad, Kristine, Zack and our little family. I loved hosting our party and am thankful for the wonderful gifts.

Andrew's gift to me was a DVD he had made on iMovie. He had taken all of the pictures of our girls and video clips and made a wonderful montage set to music. He did such an excellent job, it made me weep like a baby but I think that was his goal. It's a gift I will expect every two or three years I'm thinkin'. :)This leads me into my next list...

5 Reasons Why I love Andrew

1. He's Darn Good Lookin'

2. He does silly things to make me laugh!

3. He's very creative-hence my birthday card yesterday. (you may have to click on the pictures to read the print)

4. He's a hard worker. I don't have pictures to prove it yet but those are soon to come!

5. He loves his girls.
