In case you didn't know you are the head of one great family. I am glad that you are my dad and I hope you know what a wonderful grandfather you are.
Through out the years there are a few things that I love doing with you. Even though this might not be your favorite it is one of mine.
I love being with you while you are doing field work. I always thought it was so neat that you were a farmer and got to drive big equipment. I don't have a picture of it but my favorite was riding with you in the combine and eating our lunches that mom had prepared for us.
I loved that you would use your time off in the winter wisely and make snow forts, slides and tunnels for Zack and I. I swear that igloo lasted until May.
I love seeing you in this attire and knowing that you probably wouldn't make me come out and move pipe. This is probably one of my favorite outfits of yours.
I loved and still love taking lunch or dinner out to you in the field. It is definitely something special and I hope to continue doing it. There is something about eating a sandwich off the tailgate of a truck and drinking water out of a dirty thermos.

I love flying with you. This may come as a surprise to you considering my comments about our one trip to Castle Dale for Easter. I still remember what you said when we were about to land on the runway with a high crosswind, "Now, we may have to try this a couple of times." I probably didn't respond because I have to admit I was terrified. But.... we made it safe and sound.
This is my favorite picture of you and Leah. Mainly because you are both sleeping, which happens to be one of the things you do best.
I remember the days when you would do my hair for school and day care. If you don't remember, then check out my kindergarten picture. I love this picture because of my face, mustache and of course the Red Nissan.
Speaking of the Red Nissan, remember when you were first teaching me how to drive stick and we were at the Clark place and we were going down that dirt road and you told me to turn and I turned right then into the burrow pit and we went flying through the field. Oh my word, that was funny!
Well, I hope that you had a wonderful Birthday and hope you can forgive me for not calling you on your birthday. Happy Birthday and I love you!
P.S. This is what your granddaughter was doing while I was making this post.
I shrieked and scared her when I came out of the computer room, hence the tears.

Hiarious picture of Leah. I am dying that is so funny. That is definately a keeper. Nice post for your Papa's B-day.
Morgan, what a sweetheart you are for doing this Post. It amazes me you turned out so wonderful despite my influence... (You should thank your mother). I do remember these experiences with you. You have always been so cheerful. You have reminded me of lost or misplaced photos of the Igloo, flying over puffy clouds on that trip to Castle Dale, and one I recall of you sitting on the “throne” smiling at me looking like a “rag-a-muffin” in pigtails (thanks to me prepping you for the day) I will need to find them.
What a prize photo of poor Leah at the end. Very telling photo of what had just occurred. You just want to go pick her up.
I love you Morgan!
