So I can admit this after the fact but, I left my digital camera at a Jordan Volleyball game on Thursday evening. I didn't realize that I had lost it until Saturday when I wanted to blog new pictures. I freaked out of course but remembered right where I had left it, at the top of the bleachers in the huge gymnasium here at the high school. So of course I couldn't do anything but worry about it all weekend long trying to think whether it was could possibly still be there or if some kid had stolen it or if someone had turned it into the lost and found. Anyways so I didn't tell Andrew for fear that he would be again disappointed in my absentmindedness. He does usually take those types of things really well but it made me sick to think that I keep doing stupid things like this. Well the reason I probably left it was because the varsity team had just played four games against Hillcrest and it was tied 2 games to 2 so they had to play the fifth game to 15. It was really really intense and I was getting really into it because I of course used to coach these same girls for two years in a row. Anyways we ended up losing 13 to 15 and I was so upset I just grabbed Leah, her stroller, my purse and the diaper bag and left my lovely camera sitting on the bleacher. So this morning I was so sick and worried that I wasn't going to be able to find it. I first went to the lost and found, no luck. I then went to the maintenance crew and had them pull out the bleachers so I could look, no luck. At this point I'm getting pretty emotional. Of course. So then I filled out a missing article report and asked one of the VPs to make an announcement to the whole school. I was willing to give out a reward. I decided to put out an email to the teachers to ask them to watch out for my camera or if anyone happened to know where it was. So I just waited not in the mood to plan for the day but just sitting here moping. Then.... Brandie Lloyd the Volleyball coach came into my room about an hour later swinging my beloved camera around her finger. I screamed and grabbed the camera! She said that she had had it turned into her after the game on Thursday but was so upset by the loss of the volleyball team that she forgot to ask anyone on Friday if they were missing a camera. Anyways, needless to say I am so forgetful sometimes and I HATE IT! Please give me some tips as to how I can try and avoid this from ever happening again!!! I feel like I need some kind of therapy because I'm so forgetful!

I'm not sure I have any sound advice on this subject, but if you do get some--please let me know. Skyler is the same way--loses everything! I've gotten to the point where I just have to laugh it off....
But losing a camera would be hard to swallow. Glad you found it!
