Leah's birthday.... I'm hoping to be able to have her party on Friday the 24th, even though her birthday is on the 23rd. Mainly we have to do it this way because Andrew has a class that goes until around nine that evening and he would miss everything, but also because parties work better on weekends. So whoever would like to come is invited to come to a cute Halloween themed 1st birthday party for our Sweet, CRAZY WILD LEAH! I added that last little bit because lately she HAS been crazy and wild. I can't get her to sit still! She wants to be going constantly and does not want to be tied down. It's perfect at kinderbeets because she just crawls around and plays with herself and with all of the toys. They say she's great! For me however, it was quite the chore trying to watch a few volleyball games yesterday in the bleachers. She kept crawling up the stairs and then trying to stand up right on the edge. I just couldn't keep her still.
The second thing on my mind is Miranda's wedding (cousin) I don't think Andrew is going to make it, he has a test that morning (the 17th of December) at 7 am. Leah and I will still be able to come but that just stinks to have to leave him home while we go and have a good time in St. George. I will take a day off from school but I'll have to come back for Thursday and Friday.
Christmas will be in Idaho so we really look forward to that.
I hope you are ready for us Schauerhamer family and Mom and Dad. It should be a good Christmas since Leah is a little more ABLE this year.

Did I mention that I love this time of year? I can't wait to make definite plans for Leah's birthday, her cake, decorations, food, games and costumes. Yes Costumes!!! Mom...... are we thinking a LION for Leah? Don't you think it fits her little personality?
If you can't make the costume then I will go down to Halloween Express and find something else for her. I wish I had time to make her a costume but I have barely enough time to post let alone whip out the sewing machine and put together something worth wearing.

Miranda's getting married!? Geez, how old are we? And I love the Halloween-themed birthday party. That is so fun!
So I told Becky that I want to meet her at Temple Square this winter and look at the temple lights, meet her hubby, hang out (and we could totally do dinner before or after). Are you interested?? I missed the last reunion, so I'm trying for another one. :)
I love fall too. It's wrapped with the excitement of school, the cooler days, H.S. football, the beautiful colors and planning for the holidays. There is also an urgency to enjoy things right now outside because soon the weather will be so cold you don't want to go outside at all. I think Leah will make a wonderful lion. Thank you for taking care of Noah and seeing that he got where he needed to be. I heard that Leah loved going shopping for wedding dresses. Maybe you need to get her some mirrors and a dais to pose on. We all were quite jealous that you got to go with. Thanks for the new post.
Cute Lion costume. I've been thinking, but willneed to have measurements. Waist, chest, arm length, waist to floor, shoulders to waist, and around her face for the mane thingy. i think she should have little paws as well.
Measure her and then let me know. I think that mane is made from eyelash yarn or something.
