Well, I got motivated today ane put up our Christmas decorations this evening. It was quite the process let me tell ya. First I had to go get all of the boxes out of the storage unit and bring them home and have Andrew haul them up to our place. Now it would have been nice to have already had a clean apartment before I started this huge task but it wasn't clean. Instead I had to clean just the living room so that I could move the furniture around to fit in our lovely tree. Meanwhile Leah was all over the place, pulling stuff out of boxes, pulling out all of her toys right after I put them away, and this was all before I really got started. Once the Christmas tree was up she wanted to play with the lights and pull on the branches. Then I got the ornaments out and it was hard keeping Leah's little hands away from them. I just had to talk sternly each time she reached for a loose ornament or one that was already hanging on the tree. I think she has finally learned not to pull on the ornaments but to instead just poke and touch. I tried to put some soft, unbreakable ones at the bottom. So we got the rest of the stuff put up and Andrew came home from class. This room is the only clean one at the moment, I told Andrew that he is to clean up the rest and to do the dishes, because I'm plum wore out. Right now he's out wrestling with Leah instead of doing his job. Oh well....I think I did a pretty good job. Wouldn't you agree?

I made two of these, well my mom made one and I made the other, at a Super Saturday our ward had a while back. I gave one to Miranda and kept the other one for myself. They sure are cute!

I went to ShopKo yesterday and found out that they were having great deals on all of their Christmas decorations. I found a bunch of stuff and put a little color into my usual white tree. It turned out really pretty.

It's definitely feeling a lot more like Christmas. Now..... if it would only S-N-O-W!

This is just a cool shot that I got of Leah. The flash was off and.... well you know how she is.... CRAZY! So it provided for an interesting picture.
Okay.... so some of you know, today was my ultrasound and I have to say that I went in prepared to be surprised but.........................
in the end.....................
I really did get what I wanted because..........

Leah is going to be a big sister to a new baby girl. Isn't she lucky?!?!

Ahhhh! SOOO exciting! Your two girls will be so close in age--they will be the best of friends. How fun!! Congrats!!
Oh, and NICE job on the tree. It looks great!
I am just happy for whatever you have. In a way it is really nice for two girls to be close. They will always have each other as best friends. and think of the money you will save on girl clothes. I love the tree and how you decorated. It looks very christmas-y and I bet Leah can't keep her eyes or fingers away from the tree. See you tomorrow. I'm glad for the girl, however it would have been just as great if she had been a boy. Maybe in a few years.
How fun to have two sweet little girls just a year and a half apart. It will be so fun to put them in matching Christmas and Easter dresses in the years to come. But more important, they will always have a friend and someone they can turn to in any circumstance. Sisters have a special bond.
they will be just like jane and elizabeth bennet, don't you think? doesn't leah remind you of jane bennet? hum...well, maybe not so much and come to think of it, you and andrew are not much like mr. and mrs. bennet anyway. i think my mom wanted anne adele and me to be like the bennet girls, but there wasn't much resemblance there either. i'll have to think of some other literary sisters with whom to compare your daughters. anyway, congratulations. sisters are the best.
Wow! Another little one running around! I'm jealous. There's nothing wrong with all girls. For our sanity's sake we decided that we would go with a dog instead of any more kids. And you are way behind with the whole tree thing. I had ours up November 3rd. I was lucky to put it off that long. (My hubby gets a little excited.)
YAY! Girls are so fun! We are so excited for you! Love the Christmas tree too.
Another girl - that's exciting! They'll be good friends! I have loved having my two boys close in age. They are the best of friends and I think it will always be that way. Be aware though - they'll fight like crazy too!! What fun!
congrats!
AWWWWW!! Morg!! I am so excited that you are pregnant again! And I can't believe how big Leah looks in her pictures - she is so beautiful. I'm wondering what is going on with you this Sat., Dec. 13, because we're going to be up there and I've been done with Harry Potter FOREVER and I need to return it to you. So, just write me back and let me know what your plans are. And once again, CONGRATULATIONS!!! - I love you, Becky
