I made one of Andrew's favorites, Seven layer dip, minus the seventh layer, olives.
Here is Leah enjoying the party, she was too busy to look up at me. Oh well.
She was eyeing "robey". Good thing Maren wasn't around!
Later that weekend we decided to make Hannah's Valentine's box. I'm pretty sure she had the cutest box in her class! She seems pleased with the final product.
On Friday the 13th Leah and I were able to spend most of the day with my cousin Jack Waller. Jack is attending the Air Force Academy in Colorado and rarely is able to leave. He only came to perform with an LDS choral group from the Academy at the Joseph Smith Memorial building. We picked him up at the South Towne Mall at around 7AM and then he came to school with me and hung out until I had to take him to temple square at 3:30. It was SOOO good to see him. He is the same age as Zack and it was so neat to talk to him about all of his experiences at the academy. He had to get all dressed up in his uniform for the performance. He looked really good and I am now realizing that the pictures that I took are on Andrew's phone. Darnet! I will have to post them later. I am so glad that we got to see him, we wish him luck at the Academy, it seems quite intense! He will be filling out his mission papers in the next four weeks and will be leaving really close to the same time as Zack. So that's pretty exciting!
Later that day we packed up and headed North to Ashton. We weren't the only ones. The Jorgensen family, Sara and Leslie were able to come too. Oh and Zack came from Rexburg to join the festivities. We got there Friday night and Saturday morning, aka Valentine's Day we woke up to some delicious and creative pancakes made by Josh and Les.

I want you to note how good Leah is drinking out of a cup in this picture. For those of you who don't know, Leah doesn't even know how to use a sippy cup. She went straight from a bottle to a cup. Lately she does it all by herself! Andrew and I think it is the cutest thing when we see her drinking out of a cup, don't you agree?Later that day we went out for rides on the snow machines and tubes. It was a blast! I couldn't resist and went out and enjoyed pulling everyone on the tubes. It completely wore me out but it was totally worth it. This kind of stuff always makes me laugh so hard it makes my stomach muscles sore.
Here is my lovely husband, he had to tuck in his coat so that he didn't get snow up his back on the wild ride that I took him on. I threw him a couple of times but fortunately the snow was so soft it never hurt. Did I mention that I threw myself off of the snow machine TWICE? I kept accidentally hitting the "stop engine"button and I threw myself off to the side. I laughed so hard because it never even hurt.
Kelsie and Zack
Kelsie, Zack, Jonas and Hannah. Hannah has a big icicle on her chest.
And here they are again.

The kidlets all in a row. Sorry Leah isn't dressed but I love these pajamas on her. She makes me think of a cute baby polar bear cub. Her Aunt Julie made them in a class at BYU-I.

Looks like such a fun weekend! As much as I love living in this area, I really miss big family get-togethers like that. How are you feeling these days?
