Andrew just turned 26 on Feb. 5th. We both actually forgot that it was his birthday that morning, and when I remembered later that morning, I called him and he still didn't remember. That may tell you how busy we are OR how our cough syrup medicine is really getting to us. Yes we both, or should I say all three of us have been sick. Andrew seems to be doing better but Leah and I both cough all day and all night. We will soon be getting on some antibiotics. Well anyways later that night on Andrew's birthday we went to Winger's to have Andrew's favorite meal, the ten wing appetizer. I had some fajitas, they were delish. This may sound a bit graphic but since I'm sure the only people who really read this blog are women, I feel safe in telling you that we were out in the parking lot and I had just gotten into the car when I started having a coughing attack, I coughed so hard I started to throw up and then, of course, seeing as I am pregnant with my second child, I lost control of my bladder. Andrew felt so bad we just rushed home and he took care of Leah while I jumped in the tub and had a nice, long, relaxing, humid bath. Unfortunately, this would not be the only time this would happen, it has been a reoccurring thing this past week. I HATE IT!!! It is sooo annoying! I just have to do my "exercises" on a regular basis. :) So I feel bad that Andrew's birthday was probably not exactly what he had hoped but we made up for it on Saturday. We had a good time with all of the family at Josh and Stacy's house because it had also been Josh's birthday on the 4th. My Mom and Dad had been on their way through from Phoenix so decided to stay a couple of days to join in the celebrations. We had a delicious Mexican meal and delicious yellow cake and cheesecake. We played some games, well mostly the kids, they had a treasure hunt while we talked. The only downfall of the whole evening was that Esme, Hannah, and possibly Maren had come down with the pink eye. We all were obsessed that evening with the antibacterial stuff and were constantly rubbing it all over Leah to try and prevent her from getting it. Since there is a five day incubation period, we haven't discovered whether she has it or not. We'll see, I sure hope not though. I am sorry I don't have any pictures for this post but I am at school and don't have access to my camera or the pictures on the computer.
BTW,
- I will be posting for Leslie, the recipe stuff.
- I didn't win the stroller, I was one of like 1500 women who entered. The woman who won was soon to have twins.
- I am now reading Regency Buck, so far so good!
- Leah is still really cute and in her free time takes baths, throws things on the floor and says, "uh oohh", plays short classical pieces on the piano, and enjoys cuddling in her fluffy blanket while "reading" books upside down.

Cute post! And Happy B-day, Andrew (if he ever reads this). Sorry about the bladder thing! That would totally stink! Especially if it happened somewhere really embarassing--like at school. Good luck with your "exercises" :)--oh! and Cali loves to "read" her books upside down, too! :) Too cute.
Hey, didn't you have a pee problem at my house the other day!! :)
When you feel a cough or a sneeze coming on, quick get your legs together and squeeze. I'm sorry to say it only gets worse as you get older and have more kids.
You may have to carry a spare set of clothes until you are over this cough. I used to cough really hard whenever I had to go to the bathroom and then I was safe. May I also recommend Musinex. I have used it for the last two winters when I get my annual cold an d it just clears all that yuck out of my lungs and I don't have those big coughing attacks anymore.
I'm sorry but I couldn't help but laugh (an 'I-feel-sorry-for-you-but-can't-help-but-laugh' laugh) reading your blog! :D That's no fun! You're probably just saying, "You just wait, missy!" :) I'm glad you were able to have some fun though!
