Spring Fun and Spring Planting

Lately, for Leah, it has been one accident after another. I mentioned in another post that Leah fell into a stone fireplace and cut up her lip and chin, well she did it again except this time it wasn't a fireplace it was just our kitchen counter. I just hope there isn't a permanent scar, because that would be just terrible!!

 "Look away, I'm hideous!"
Just kidding, still cute as ever despite her toddler battle wounds.

Lily has news too, she has now graduated from crib to toddler bed, that is when we get the toddler bed, for now it's just the mattress on the floor. Hey she did great sleeping in it for her nap and last night so I'm happy!

The weather wasn't great today but at least the sun was shining, it was super windy and I was wishing I had a kite or something just to make the wind worth it, I think I'll pick one up today while I'm in Idaho Falls.

Last year there was a tragic accident involving me and our trampoline and let's just say that was the second time I had fallen through that trampoline and the mat was not to be fixed a second time, so this year I decided to order a new mat and new pads for our trampoline frame. Today they came via FedEx and so I set it up while the girls were napping and of course once it was up I had to relive my younger years and do some tricks and flips, two pregnancies later my bladder wasn't what it used to be so it was short-lived. Oh well, the girls sure enjoyed it once they woke up!
I've been helping, well let's say providing moral support to good friend Margie Walker lately on a quilt for her baby. She did a very good job having it been her first quilt, she picked out the fabrics, sewed, quilted and bound it all herself and I think she should be very proud of it! I love the colors and think it will be a very well loved quilt by her little Jackson.
They are leaving for Arkansas for three months today after she teaches her last day of school, they will be missed but we were very glad to have them come on one last little adventure with the Schauerhamers. I had to take dinner up to Andrew and my Dad, they have been planting grain up at Highland.

Good luck to the Walkers and hope Margie makes it without having to stop and deliver a baby somewhere in the Midwest. We're glad to have them as friends and will see them come August when all that grain that has been planted will be almost ripe and ready to harvest.

I love seeing the Girlies. No kids that cute here. I love the windmill picture. Looks like a calendar pictureasd. And believe me I should be a judge of calendar pictures considering what I have been seeing this past week.

This is mom. So sad to see Leah's chin. She needs to look uP when she runs. I'm glad to see the planting going strong. Wish it could be done before I get home, but I guess that's hoping for a lot. Have fun on the trampoline. I miss you all.

Cute girlies. So sorry about the injury to Leah's chin. The planting pictures are so pretty and we always like to get a good picture of Andrew. Have fun with your trampoline this summer. I can just envision the girlies hair as they jump up and down.
