Julie and Ian invited us down to Sandy to be there for their little Jaxon's baby blessing. We went down after my volleyball tournament on Saturday and spent the evening at Julie and Ian's house with the rest of the family. Lots of fun and laughs, then the next morning we went to church at their ward and then after the meeting had the blessing and lunch at a pavilion nearby. Despite the chilly weather we all had a good time visiting and loving on cute little Jaxon.
Ian with the cute little bug, I was probably changing into warmer clothes when they took the family group shots. Ian gave a beautiful blessing and both will be wonderful parents.Since it was at the park the girls enjoyed running around with their cousins and sliding down the slides. Lily and cousin Statton made a game out of climbing up the slide a few feet and then sliding down together. They sure got a kick out of that!
The rest of the cousins played on the grass and enjoyed the sun, it was a fun day and we loved spending time with the Butikofers, Carpenters and of course Schauerhamers. Wish we could get together more often!
Leah was not too thrilled when it was time to leave. She wasn't a happy camper because she loves playing with her cousins.

Eventually we rounded up the girls and headed to Josh and Stacy's house to do a quick Senior Picture photoshoot for Kelsie, which by the way I can't believe is that old. Crazy!! The pictures turned out great, more due to the subject than the photographer. Here is just a peek to some that I took. Don't worry Jorgensen family none of these made the cut (surprisingly) for the senior announcements.
Had a good weekend and glad we didn't miss it. We do wish the weather had been a bit warmer, we left Idaho to get away from the cold but oh well. Can't wait until our next time to go down, it will probably be when cousin Leslie comes home from her mission in Costa Rica, Hooray!

Can't wait to see the finished photo collage. It was great to see you all even though it was much to short.
