Lazy Days and Harvest

I only say "Lazy Days" because it seems like we don't get much accomplished, just a lot of nursing and lounging around. :) The girls spend a lot of time at Grandma Baum's house while Russell and I do our thing at home while watching the Olympics while they were on or playing Tales of Monkey Island a problem solving based computer game that I'm addicted to and can play while feeding Russell.

I went to see the Dr. today and found out I have a bit of an infection so I'm getting that taken care of but which is no fun, then took Russ to his appointment/checkup and found that he is doing great! Thank goodness, I'd much rather be the one with problems than him so I'm relieved.
Once I got home Andrew drove into the yard in the combine (I had the girls go with him while I was at the Dr.) they had been testing a field to see if it was ready, it wasn't so they moved on to help another farmer. The girls got off the combine in their crazy outfits, they are always kind of funny when dad's in charge, and we came inside the house and had a little lunch then we all zonked out including the baby for about three hours. I guess there is a serious lack of sleep going on at the Schauerhamer home.

When I woke up I saw Lily playing with Russell and thought it a good time to get a few very sweet pictures or our newest big sister and little brother of the family.

As I mentioned harvest has started and it seems so early probably because it is. We love harvest and had a chance to go out and give the crew their first official harvest meal, cabbage rolls or as I once heard them called, "Cabbage Biskits" :) I didn't get to take many pictures because Russell smelled the vittles and got hungry himself and had to have a little dinner.

Russell is getting bigger already. He looks older in that first picture. Oh so sweet, the pictures of Lily and him. Wish I could have had a Cabbage Bisquit. Your kids are all photogenic. That is so fortunate.

SO cute! You make me wish I lived on a farm! Hope you are recovering and enjoying your sweet boy!
