I've been a little envious of my parents seeing as they are in Washington DC for a vacation and Leah and I just come home each evening and don't do much. Soo.... I decided we would go for a little outing to the Wheeler Historic farms which are almost right across the street from us. It's free and you can see your common farm animals. Anyways the weather was beautiful I didn't need a jacket and short sleeves so it was a perfect spring day!

I found it somewhat difficult to take pictures of Leah that were interesting and had Leah in them, considering it was just the two of us. So I had to be creative.

OKay, this turkey was massive and really really ugly!

She loved being outside~

Leah sat on the fence by the pigs and would occasionally smile despite the Lovely smell!

What a sweetheart, I would have taken pictures of both of us but I never look good when taking my own picture.

Harses harses harses
"I love wheeler farm!"

Rabbit? is that you?
If only she could remember our little outing.

I can't believe you still had the energy to go to Wheeler Farm after a day at work, time on the treadmill, and DDR!
What cute little pictures. I especially like the one in the big wagon bed and of course the scary turkey. It looks like you had fun, even just a little adventure in the neighborhood is better than no adventure at home.
I've thought every day that I wish you were all here, until I thought of hauling Leah around with or without a stroller, and it would be vey difficult. DC is not the place for strollers. Walking, walking, walking. We don't stop and up and down stairs and escalators to take the metro. I did see tons of families and children are everywhere, but not in strollers. I guess until they can walk they mostly get left at home. It's fun to see you out and about your neighborhood. What, is this the first time we haven't taken you with us or just the second? She's getting so big you can prop her up. You wouldn't have been able to do that a month or two ago. What great weather. It's been in the 50s here. Love mom
i love to see your blogs; that leah is so photogenic, i guess i'll just have to forgive her for giving me rsv. i like the picture of her with her tongue out looking sappy. that's how i look whenever someone takes my picture. see you this weekend. liz
