The other day I asked the girls to go get dressed for the day, I knew we would be spending the day at home so I didn't really care what they got dressed in. Well Lily chose this outfit, a baby bib and a tutu. Why not?
Lily has been so funny lately, some of her favorite things to say are:"papad"-she says this every Sunday during sacrament meeting because she knows my mom has brought it to church.
"hode you"-she says this when she wants me to hold her.
"huh huh!"-she prefers saying this to just saying yes.
"pess pay!"-usually she says this when her movie is at the title menu and she wants me to press play, but it also happens when she hears music on a regular TV show that sounds like a title menu. ?? Don't really know how to explain that but both girls do this.
"Go away!"-she says this when she wants you to.... well it's pretty self explanatory really!
"too!"-she says this when Leah's doing something and Lily wants to do it too.
"Pease!"- She usually says this when Leah has something and she wants it, at least she says please right?
"ouch ouch!"-she says this when she wants you to put her down, or just stop touching her. She's not getting hurt but has realized that it works in stopping you.
She's kind of a naughty thing sometimes and if it weren't for that cute round face it would be easier to discipline her when she flips out.
When Leah came back after getting herself dressed this is what she was wearing, Lily's pants and Lily's "Cutest Little Sister" shirt she got for her birthday. Like I said it was a lazy day so again, whatever. Leah says some pretty fun things too, lately it's been:
"Are you serious!?!"
"For Pete's sake, are you kidding me?" that said with a very disgruntled look on her face.
When someone is leaving our house or we are leaving my parents she says, "See you later alligator! Don't let the bed bugs bite, if they do grab your shoe, black and blue" She just skips the "-beat them till they're " part.
She's a pretty smart cookie and cracks us up daily. She will talk your ear off if you let her but it's hard to make sense of her stories, we just smile, nod and say, "oh cool!"
I have been having the urge to quilt lately so I decided to use up a small tea party charm pack I got in the mail a month ago. It turned out pretty cute with the bright colors but I don't know who it's for, it's up for grabs this summer after I get down to CD to quilt it. More than anything I wanted to work hard at making my corners meet and I'm pretty proud of the job that I did.

What fun girls and a fun quilt.
Speaking of tea parties that is what we are getting ready for. Wish you were here. Hope that you are having a fun Easter Weekend. I love Lily's outfit. She just wanted something easy and not too restrictive, I am sure.
last comment is really from Sara. Did not know that Brooks was signed on.
Wardrobe selections are important and can express how you feel about the world and your place in it. So what is Lily trying to say to you? Funny girls. Darling quilt.
