Birthday and more summer fun!

 For my birthday my friends Margie Walker and Britney Stegelmeier invited me to lunch at our local Mexican restaurant. It was fun to get together with them and chat knowing that Margie will be moving soon. SAD! She and Andrew accepted a job offer in Plano Texas and are moving this week.

After lunch I decided it would be fun to go swimming, it's for me just as much as for the girls because it gives me a chance to cool off even though I have to literally squeeze myself into a swimming suit. Andrew even came along with Margie and Jackson, of course the girls and Andrew's cousin Jason Hawkes who has been spending a lot of time with us this summer since he is working on the farm. We had a really good time and I love seeing the girls get better and better each time that we go.

After swimming, we all met my parents at the local Pizza restaurant, 511 Main, for some delicious pizza. After that we went home and met up with Zack, Grandpa Russell, Kristine as well as my Aunt Camille and Uncle Jack Waller who had flown in from California that day. We had some delicious Birthday lemon poppy seed cake (it's tradition) and ice cream. It was such a nice birthday and everyone was soo kind to get me some wonderful birthday gifts. My parents got me the Pioneer Woman recipe book and some new lenses for my camera. AWESOME! Andrew and the girls got me a Sherlock Holmes book. It was such a great birthday and the weather was great so we enjoyed visiting and relaxing in Mom and Dad's backyard. Thanks everyone for such a great day!

On Friday Andrew's parents said that they wanted to come up for a picnic so we decided to take them back to the Sheep Falls that we had gone to the week before. Call me crazy for doing it again, pregnant and paranoid children but we did. It also gave me a chance to use my knew Macro lenses.

 We didn't tell the girls that we were going on a hike, we just told them we were going on a picnic, but as soon as we got to the trail head I heard Leah in the back say, "Hey..... I know this place, this place has snakes!!" Fortunately, neither one complained about the hike or the snakes so that was good.

We had packed a lunch and enjoyed it a short distance from the car, mainly because we had Great Grandma Hawkes with us and it was a little too much for her. After lunch Andrew took her back up to the car and the rest of us went down to the falls, then Elaine went back up and traded off Andrew so he could see the falls.
