There are a few pictures that I take that I keep looking at over and over and over because I LOVE them. This is definitely one, I can't get over this little face. He looks so big in this picture but don't be fooled he's still itty bitty and that head still bobbles a bit, but he is growing. Instead of a neck he's decided to grow an extra chin, or as Aunt Lisa says he's Mr. Chinagain and again and again and again. :) He's sooo sweet and those bright beautiful eyes are so big and starting to focus on faces and smiles of which he does a lot now. The girls can't get over him either and love on him almost more than I do. I hear Lily do what I call the Auntie Schauerhamer Squeel (Aunties Julie, Crystal and Emily) which is where they start low and go really high making a squeeling sound, it means that they have just seen something super cute. :) At first I thought Lily was screaming because she was fighting with Leah until I realized she was oogling over Mr. Russell, she does this all the time. I love it! Leah sings to him and says that "I"m Trying to Be Like Jesus" is his favorite song. I would have to agree because he calms right down whenever she sings it to him. So I guess you could say we love him as much as we possibly can and love, Love, LOVE smooching on those delicious cheeks and luscious lips!
On another note, since this is a sort of journal for our family and I was told by a few people to make sure this story gets to the kids and grand-kids I decided I had better record it before I forget. The other day Andrew was out cutting wood with a chain saw, he was sawing through a log when it came down faster than he had expected and actually came down and hit his thigh above the knee and bounced right off his leg. Stunned, Andrew turned off the chainsaw and looked down at his leg to see the damage it had done, his jeans had shredded in a line from the chainsaw but through the hole in his jeans he saw that his garments were untouched as was the skin underneath. He came into me shortly after and told me that he shouldn't have a leg right now. I was a little shocked to hear that and of course the story unfolded and all I could say was, "Well Andrew, you must be doing something right" That was a testimony to me that by keeping temple covenants and making sure that we wear our garments as we promised to do when first receiving our endowments that we will be watched over and protected. I guess they truly are Magic Underwear! ;)
