After harvest it's always good to get away from the farm and the weather has been so beautiful I wanted to take advantage of being out in it one last time before all the snow. We decided to make a trip down to Salt Lake to see the Jorgensen Families and to go to Park City for a little getaway. We planned to be there a little over a week and even when it all came to an end it went by way too fast, but we were able to fit a lot in and had a great time with everyone. One of the highlights was when we made caramel apples, gourmet caramel apples that is!
Park City was so fun and beautiful! There were no crowds and the scenery was amazing! We took advantage of a very charming Farmer's Market, the Alpine Slide, Olympic Park and a really good BBQ Restaurant on Main. We loved staying at the Holiday Inn because it had a great pool and hot tub that the girls loved more than anything. It was soo good to hang out as just our little family after not seeing Andrew for so long while he was harvesting potatoes. I would love to go back to Park City and see what else they have to offer, which is a ton I'm sure.
The Alpine slide was so fun, I got to ride with Leah and she screamed the entire way down, screams of excitement and pure joy! I love that she is so adventurous...kind of reminds me of her parents and now we can enjoy it together! Lily, on the other hand, was quiet she liked it but as opposed to Leah decided to keep her excitement inside.

I also love Park City, I think that is where we should do a family reunion! We enjoyed having your growing family down here with us. It was like old times, but better with the little ones playing!
great pictures. So glad that you were able to come down for those days.
Loved all your pictures. Those caramel apples looked delectable. I'm so happy lily wore the little sweater. She liked cute.
