Last week we measured the girls and Russell. They all are growing so fast, especially our little Russell, he's getting so big it kind of makes me sad. It is fun, however, to see him smiling and laughing, the girls enjoy it too.
For my craft group I'm involved in we did this and I really like it, I am going to find some holly to embellish it. It was a fun project.
After Leah's preschool last Tuesday in which she shared what she was thankful for, her family, we headed down to Salt Lake City. We were fortunate enough to see a lot of Andrew's family that were either live or were visiting in the Salt Lake valley because Becki and Jason Carpenter invited us for dinner. We were able to see Mary Ann, Julie and Ian, Crystal and David, Allen and Elaine and all the nephews, Levi, Lucas, Avery, Corbin, Spencer and Jaxon. It was so fun to see Crystal since she lives so far away in Seattle.
After dinner and visiting we went to the Jorgensen's where we were going to spend the rest of the weekend. While there we played games, went to the church and recess games, did several puzzles and even made a few gingerbread houses. It was such a good weekend and I loved spending time with what I'm always thankful for, family.
Thanksgiving day was perfect, good food, good company, especially my little Russell Ray. He has such a sweet disposition and was so good the whole weekend. He was held a lot which helped and he even slept in most mornings. I was really thankful for that because our nights were late.
A few more highlights from the weekend were, first my cousin Tennyson Fauver received her mission call to Frankfurt, Germany. She enters the MTC on March 20th. We are so very excited for her that she has made the decision to go. Such a fun and good girl that I'm sure she will make an excellent missionary. We now await a few more in the family to get their papers completed and see where they go to serve the Lord.
Next, I was able to take engagement pictures of my cousin Leslie and her fiance Jason Gibson from Rexburg, they met in London where he was doing an internship and she was studying abroad for a short time. Since their whirlwind of a romance there in England they have been long distance dating because he is going to school in Boston and she has been there in Salt Lake at the U. They got engaged a few weeks ago and are getting married on January 12th in the Salt Lake Temple. I loved taking pictures of them because I got to know Jason better and was able to see how much they love each other.
It was a great Thanksgiving and I know the girls had a great time playing with Maren and Essie, Russell enjoyed being loved on, we sure are blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.

Essie and I need some company, we are bored all by ourselves, we miss you all! These photos turned out so perfect. I have to say, other than Kels, we have got to be the whitest people you know. Can you add a little color to our pale skin, hee, hee! This has been a memorable year and I am sure next will be just as. Thank you so much for helping so much, cooking such fab food, good company, and the movie!
