First I'm really excited that I found The Little Women music to put on my blog, so.... I would appreciate it if you press play on the side player before you look at my blog, just so that you can really get the whole fall feeling while reading my posts. Hehehe!
But what I'm really excited about is that I get to have a student teacher from January to the end of April! This couldn't have worked out better, considering I am due to have a baby on May 5th! Yeah, so some of you are probably wondering why I get to have a student teacher even though I'm only on my third year of teaching. Well.... the other members of our department decided that I would be one of the best ones for the job, which is a huge compliment. I really feel privileged to get this opportunity right before I quit. :) I appreciate that my colleagues think I'm good enough now to help mentor and teach a potential teacher. But I'm mainly excited that it will take a major load off of my back. For those of you who aren't around me on a regular basis, I am exhausted all of the time and I am hoping that the sickness goes away soon. Instead of being sick in the mornings, like with Leah, I have been mainly sick in the evenings. I'm hoping that this ends soon because it's really starting to bug me. But I look forward to the frequent trips to the bathroom and uncomfortableness at night. :) It's all worth it though!
P.S. Happy Birthday to two women who have been as good as mothers, sisters and friends all rolled into one. Sara and Stacy, I love you and I don't know what I would do without you!

WOW! That seriously is a great compliment. Good for you! I'm not surprised one bit. You were always so good at teaching & coming up with fun ways to do it. And I'm glad that you will be getting a little bit of a break. I can't imagine how hard it would be to be teaching full time, pregnant, and already have a little one. GO MORGAN! :)
That is great news. They have a warranted trust in you. It's not just flattery. They trust that you will be the best tutor/mentor for this person. I'm so happy that this opportunity came to you now.
What great news - and what a great compliment to you! Hopefully that will make things much easier. I'm sorry you're still sick! My "morning" sickness (yeah right - try "all day" sickness) went away around 12 weeks, so that's too bad that you are still dealing with it. My friend Teneille is also expecting right now and also due in May. 'Tis the season!!
