What are you thankful for? I'm thankful for.....

I am thankful for so many things, of course the usual, family, friends, my job, the Gospel, having a home of my own, my education and so on but I wanted to make a list of things that I am specifically thankful for this year.

I'm thankful.....
  1. that Andrew loves kids, not just Leah, and is becoming one of the best fathers I know
  2. that I belong to a ward where they know who I am and are concerned about me and my family
  3. that Leah doesn't use a binky, a bottle, or a sippy cup and that she is a relatively low stress baby :)
  4. that somewhere amongst my 200 plus students some of them are learning what I have to teach them and enjoying it
  5. that (I don't even know how to explain this but) I have family members who mean more to me than I ever thought possible
  6. that I am (very) fertile and have no problem getting pregnant
  7. that I can laugh at my dumb mistakes, for example: I gave my students a chance to make up a quiz score by doing some different mind and word puzzles, I explained briefly how to do them and then told them to "just figure it out", so about five minutes ago I had my student recently from India come in with a very puzzled look on her face and she asked me, "Teacher," because she only calls me teacher because she can't pronounce my last name, "I don't get how to do this crossword puzzle or this logic problem" in her beautiful Indian accent. Then it dawned on me, what a stupid assignment to give her and expect her to "just figure out" so I tried to help her by getting her started. Let's just say that it would be very difficult to even attempt a simple crossword puzzle in a different language even if I could speak it and understand it. I told her to try it by looking up answers on the internet but that I would give her the points whether she got them right or not.
  8. that I have been blessed with the "reasonable" or "sensible" gene, thanks Mom and Dad! Or at least this is what I believe....:)
  9. that someone invented the computer! honestly what would we do without them?
  10. that I have a husband who is willing to put up with a ton just to get him another baby to play with....the more that I think about that last comment........then what in the heck am I doing?!?!?!?
  11. (on a more personal note) I am thankful for laser hair removal and Degree Clinical Protection, both of which make my life soooo much better!!!!!

These are just a few of the things that I am thankful for this Thanksgiving season. SOOOO now it's your turn, make a post of what you are thankful for, I would love to know.

It's funny that you mention your deodorant, because Kels told me that she needed the deodorant that you use. Perfect, now I can go out and get it!
