Recent Pictures of Leah

Well I haven't posted pictures of Leah lately, mainly because I can't get her to keep her eyes open anymore. I don't know if it's because she is startled because of the flash or what but she blinks in almost every picture I take. The following one is a prime example.

This is the dress that my mom got for her for the fall time. It also has a really cute beret hat and a sweater. The reason she isn't wearing the sweater is because I couldn't find until today when I happened across it when I looked behind her dresser. She isn't wearing the beret because she can't stand to have things on her head, and rips it off the instant I try and put it on.

The dress is darling, thanks mom for the complete oufit, it always get's several compliments at church.
So lately Leah has been in to pulling all of her toys out of her toy box and then getting into the toy box herself. She is in there everytime I turn around.

This is normal behavior, right?!?!

These are just a few pictures of Leah amongst her birthday toys.

These are from today. I remember when my friend Lauren posted a post on her blog about her little girl, Cali, and how she liked to put things around her neck. I guess Leah has reached that stage because she LOVES this necklace of mine. But......

instead of putting it on like a normal person she insists on having it wrapped around her leg.

or booty.

What a goof. So seeing this little vest reminds me of how Leah calls everything fuzzy or soft "kitty kitty" but pronounced more like "kihee, kihee" It is her favorite word, in fact her ONLY word. She doesn't say mama or dada just kihee. Oh well..... Only my child's first word would be Kitty, RIGHT????

Sweet Leah! She gives the best facial expression in her pics.

Are her sensitive to the flash? Or she being a goofball? She sure is sweetheart. If you want pictures of her in a hat give her something to hold in each hand. For a little while she will be busy holding stuff and she won't be able to take the hat off. Of course it won't last long, but long enough for a picture.

Thanks for putting up the pictures of Leah for Grandma and Grandpa. I know GG and Gp Baum enjoy them too. She is getting so big and I think her hair is growing. How about that? Can't wait to see you all.

I agree with those cute clothes. She is such a little sweetie. I am so glad that you live by me so that I can see her all the time and take little walks with her and snuggle up with her in her favorite Kihee Kihee fluffy blanket.

when dennis and i took her to sportsmans warehouse saturday night she called all the stuffed wildlife, both large and small, kee kee. the great big elk, the ferocious bear, the jackalope: they were all kee kee. it was charming, and of course all the big tough outdoorsmen shoppers had to make a fuss over her.

She's such a happy girl! How fun! Peyton has the same "eyes closed for every picture" problem. But his is because he thinks he needs to bat his eyes like crazy whenever I take a picture. I have no idea where he picked that up from! How are you feeling?
