Christmas Dresses and Pen

I took these yesterday with my not so fancy camera (hence the graininess) and got their dresses last week at Baby Gap. They are cream and white velour, note for later. Anyways, I was really excited to get them all dressed up for church yesterday. They were ready and I took these pictures, then not ten minutes later, Leah found a blue pen and DREW all over her dress. Maybe "drew" is an understatement, more like COLORED ALL over it AND her cream tights. I had been on the computer preparing a lesson for the CTR B class and Andrew was putting some clothes away. Well I got pretty upset and ripped it off of her and doused the whole thing in Oxy Clean. I scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed and it started to come out. I guess stains are pretty easy to get out of velour but I had to go to church so we threw it in the washer along with the tights and came home from church, threw them in the dryer and sure enough the stain is mostly gone. All except for a slight blue tint when you look hard enough. I tell you what though, my patience has been tried this week, for sure!

Moral of the Story: "It's only a dress, Morgan" (quote by Andrew) and
Having a two year old is rough!!!

The pictures are darling. I was wondering what Zack was talking about in his letter. That little monkey. She is so dang cute though. I am glad you got the stain out for the most part. Can't wait to see them on them in person.

Oh Morg!! You poor thing---don't worry, I would have freaked out too. But atleast you got SUCH ADORABLE pics of the girls in their dresses before the accident---AND you got it mostly out. Impressive! Love the pics---and yes, having a two year is rough. :)

Okay, so here is how Josh's testimony went last Sunday! Esme is a very, very, very special spirit. I'm glad to know that your two year old is having fun also!

Yes, two year olds are definately rough! When Peyton was 2, he and his cousin (who was also the same age) came across a black permanent marker and colored all over his bedroom floor - which was cream colored!! I nearly came unglued over the whole thing. I just knew we'd have to replace the carpet in that room. But my sister-in-law and I scrubbed and scrubbed with hair spray, nail polish remover, and the magic eraser and it all came out (phew!). Anyway, its totally okay to freak out sometimes ; )!!
