Of course these didn't even make it through the day, they were eaten up by two sugar-tooth blondies and their major sugar-tooth daddy! Oh and I guess we did share some with my parents. They were really good!

Yep, It's All About the Cookies!
My Aunt Jenny just posted on her blog about Valentine sugar cookies and I have to agree with her that is all about the cookies! She has her favorite recipe posted on her blog, I didn't use her recipe since I had made mine before she posted but mine turned out really good too. I found my recipe in my Schauerhamer family cookbook.
I first made a pink icing to dip the cookies in to make that really nice smooth look and then made a butter frosting to decorate with. To be honest I could care less what the cookies taste like it's more important to me what they look like! I will be making more of these babies this weekend because they are just too fun.
p.s. I would love it AA if you would share your Strawberry Banana cake recipe.

What is going on with this comment thing. I keep commenting but never getting through. AA doesn't have a strawberry-banana cake recipe. She gave you the ice cream recipe which somehow she mistook for a cake recipe. I have a strawberry cake recipe of Mom's that I will share with you, but not in the comment section. Maybe I will make one and take pictures. We used to make it in heartshaped pans. Very Lovely.
I would like the recipe for the strawberry-banana ice cream and the strawberry cake. Someone please e mail them to me. The cookies look delicious, I'm glad the little girlies enjoyed them.
