Last Wednesday, Sept. 7th was Leah's first day of Preschool. It's actually more of a Joy school that a bunch of moms and I have put together for our little preschoolers. Each Wednesday they go to a different house and focus on a new letter, a number and a shape.
You like that hair? Good because Leah and I are both fans of the POOFY hair! :)
Here she is reading books with Britney Stegelmeier at Joy School.
When I went to pick her up, a half an hour late... OOPS! I was caught up in making signs for Zack, she was not so keen on leaving, hence the following sourpuss picture.
They made apple trees with died pasta and finger paint, and also made a pipe cleaner A there in the bottom corner. Britney said she makes very fine A's!
This was also Grandpa Baum's birthday, so we decided to bring the party to him out in the field. We made some cupcakes, ordered pizza, made a salad for the occasion. A perfect tailgate meal!
Here's Grandpa reading his hilarious birthday card from Grandma.
(Notice, I tried a new photo editing process on all these pictures, a little more high def and more dramatic, hey! We were in a dramatic setting!)
The cupcakes, devils food chocolate cupcake with, burgundy flavored frosting and chunks of Snickers bar on top.
The girls were pretty excited to be outside with Grandpa having dinner, they got a little crazy!
Are you excited Lily?
This is one of my new favorite pictures, it pretty much captures our evening. Good memories.
Here is Grandpa pretending to blow out his candles because we couldn't get them lit out in the field. Maybe it was a sign that if we had we would have burned up the field.
"One year older and wiser too!"
I couldn't resist taking more pictures, the landscape was amazing and I just love taking harvest pictures so here are this years spread.
While my parents and the girls were taking a ride in the combine I thought Andrew and I would get a few shots, by the time we got it right (both of us in the picture) the sun had gone down but it was still pretty with all the falling rain in the background.
Hope that it was a great birthday Dad, we love you and hope to share many many many more birthdays with you especially out in the barley field!

Loved all of your pictures. I am booking a shoot the next time you are in town. Hee, hee! No, really! I loved that little dress Lily is wearing and I love her face.
Also, Leah look like a little cheerleader on the truck!
Love all of the photos as usual. I heard that you put all of the pictures of the family on FaceBook. Can you please post some of them. I don't know how to get them off of FaceBook and I really need them. Can't you please do that for me. Besides you also need to do a blog of that weekend. I know you got some other amazing pictures that we all need to see.
Morgan, I love all the pictures. The fluffy is charming. The birthday party in the barley field was great. I especially liked lily's excitement. All the sunset shots are gorgeous.
