Boston: Days 1 and 2

Boston Mass. Days 1 and 2
Red Eye Flight from SLC to JFK
Learned: Russell flies really well! I do not...

Leslie and Jason Gibson's apartment
Learned: It is relaxing, small and full of love.....they are still newlyweds. ;)

John Adams Home
Learned: There are trees EVERYWHERE!

Stoughton, MA
Learned: I love the style of the homes!!! Honestly I would pick one of these houses for my own if I could!

Ponkapoag Lake in Stoughton MA
Learned: The water in this lake makes you orange.

Fort Independence in Quincy MA
Learned: The Fort unfortunately is only open to public on Thursdays, we were there on a Tuesday...

China Town
Learned: Crazy Bostonian Police Women are scary! Especially if you are Jason Gibson and you drive on a road meant only for pedestrians and then try and park too close to a fire hydrant.

Day 2
The Freedom Trail in Downtown Boston
Learned: The Freedom Trail is truly a trail, a red line in the road/sidewalk that goes throughout the city, you just follow it. Oh and Russell looks really good in fluorescent yellow!

Cheers Bar
Learned: Nobody knew my name...

Do you know the answers to these trivia questions? If you do then good for you!

An old cemetery on the Freedom Trail
Learned: Benjamin Franklins parents were buried here along with, John Hancock, Paul Revere and Mother Goose?

Feneuil Hall and Quincy Market
Learned: There is a second Cheers, Lobster Rolls and Lobster Bisque are as good as they sound and Toasted Coconut soft serve ice cream is A-mazing especially in a chocolate covered, pink sprinkled, mini M&M filled waffle bowl. ;)

The Old State House
Learned: The Declaration of Independence was read from the balcony.

 The Wharf
Learned: There are mansion yachts and I would like to live in one.

The Holocaust Memorial
Learned: Each one of those numbers represents someone killed in the holocaust, the columns represent the smoke stacks at the concentration camps that have hot steam coming up through the center from grates in the ground.

Mike's Pastries
Learned: It's a pretty famous place though I had never heard of it, they only take cash but their Boston Cream Pie and Canoli's are delicious! Russell agrees.

Paul Revere Monument, USS Constitution and Bunker Hill Monument
Learned: The USS Constitution has too much security to go through especially when Leslie doesn't have an ID, the Bunker Hill Monument is way too far to walk after walking the Freedom Trail for 5 hours and is best seen from afar. :)

Boston Burger Co.
Learned: My "Hot Mess" burger I ordered had been featured on Rachael Ray. It was superb!

The Beach in Quincy
Learned: Russell LOVES the sand! He also likes to pick up rocks.

 Boston City Building Lights
Learned: Hard to capture without a tripod especially while nursing a baby. :)

I wish I was there. Missing little Russell's charming ways. It is beautiful out there.
