Our little angel gets to come home tomorrow. Notice she doesn't have the nasal canula anymore. She still has the little IV in her hand because she has to finish out her antibiotics and those go through the IV. Her last day for the antibiotics is Sunday, tomorrow.
In the meantime she is "ad libbing" her feeding times and I am nursing her. While she eats I just have to watch the monitor to make sure that she continues breathing while she nurses. She keeps getting better and better. It is such a relief to have a good nurser because Leah sure was not. We knew she would be because she would go to town on her binky. So the only thing left to do is wait for the antibiotics and Andrew and I have to learn CPR for a baby and do the carseat check.

We are so happy for you. Lily is beautiful and we are so glad that she is doing so well. It's strange to think that a week ago she was still inside of you. Her hair is so surprising. I remember your Mom telling me that Zack had a lot of dark hair when he was born. She said it looked like a bad toupee. Fortunately, Lily's hair is wonderful and just right to hold a little pink ribbon. Keep the pictures and congratulations
Oh, she is so cute! I can't handle it! :) And I'm glad to hear there is hope for me with our next one and nursing....Cali was really bad at it, too. The nurses said they thought it was because she was early, too. She had NO idea how to suck. Seriously, no sucking reflex. Which sucked for me. :)
