Leah's hair is pretty much long enough to put into one ponytail in back. Believe me it doesn't last long but it works well enough to get a cute picture.
She also has been into getting into my closet and finding these particular shoes to clomp around the house in. Is she already into dress up? or does she just like the clicking noise they make on the tile? Probably the latter.

Well, the two year project that shouldn't have been a two year project is finally done. Leah's or should I say Lily's baby quilt is finally done. I just finished sewing the binding on Saturday.

Here is a closeup so that you can see the binding. I cut all of the colors into 13 inch strips and then sewed them together to make the binding. I think it turned out really super cute. I can't wait until Lily get's here so I can cuddle her in it. For those who are wondering, I am only about 4 weeks away from my due date, and with my track record for Leah which is five weeks early I am thinking the baby could come at any time. I dont' really want her to come early, we are shooting for around the 24th right after Andrew's graduation but as I learned with Leah, I'm not planning for anything, because I'm definitely not in charge. Well, I hope everyone has a good Conference weekend, look forward to a Conference quiz probably on Sunday!

The quilt looks really really cute. I love it. I think it is as cute as the original we saw at the quilt store, don't you. Also, about the shunning. I forgot that all about it, and I'm surprised you dared show up at any parties given by the Jorgensen girls having not read a GH book. Just to show that we can all forgive and forget, you can, along with Sara, take on the T-party for Becky and Noah. I will try to find some elegant little confit with which to tempt party guests. I however, have volunteered to do the egg-hunt that morning and may have to rely on Alan and Zack to help. Alan may supply the t-party with John Deere fruit snackies. Fun for the younger set (which might include Zack and Andrew). Leah has such girlie genes and cute girle jeans too. Love the black clacky shoes. Speaking of shoes, did I mention I bought some for Lilly and Leah the other day. Too cute! I will bring them down if I remember. Love mom
Morg! That quilt is super adorable! I seriously love it. And I'm so jealous that your aunt as one of those special quilting machines. Quilts are so expensive to get bound like that--with all that fancy stitching! You are so lucky...nice work! Good luck with Lily. I can't wait to hear all about it!!
P.S. Are you moving right after graduation?
Morgan I love the quilt, especially the binding. It's great that you combined all the fabrics to bind it. I like the balance that you get. One fabric doesn't overwhelm any other. I think Leah's hair is so cute and I just smile thinking of her little toes in your shoes and clonking around the house. She is so much fun.
