Alright, it all started in the middle of the night when Leah woke up like 3 times. I don't know if it is just because Andrew is gone or what but I didn't get very good sleep. I woke up a little late and had to get Leah all ready by myself. It took a little while because I was really tired and I could feel myself getting a little nauseous and dizzy while doing my hair. I just decided to ignore it because I knew I had to go to work because I had no more sick days left. Oh yeah did I mention I hadn't seen Kitty for a couple of days!!!!
So I get to school knowing I was really cutting it close. I took Leah to kinderbeets and Terry, the lady who takes care of Leah, told me that the office was trying to paige me. So I headed up to my classroom to call the office. I opened the door and looked in........ all of my desks were gone except for ten. I usually have around 37 so I was missing a ton. I started hyperventilating because the bell was going to ring in like ten seconds. I went to go hunt down another teacher and found that that was why they were trying to paige me. They called the janitor and he was supposed to come fix the problems. Then... the bell rings and my students start flooding in with shocked but pleased faces. They hoped we wouldn't do anything in class. At this point I really wasn't feeling well. I had them come in and I improvised until 3 quarters of the way through the class period one of the janitors came and took 25 of my students to go get the desks. Talk about pointless class period. Oh well...The desks had been missing because they were down stairs for taking the ACT tests on Saturday. Sheesh! they could have returned them!!!!
So my illness is worsening and I'm feeling like i'm going to pass out. My students started commenting that I looked pale and I told them that I didn't feel well. I made it through the period and went to lunch to lay on the couch. Everyone was concerned and were telling me what to do. "show a movie!" , "let them have a free period". So I decided on a video. I couldn't have chosen a more boring video. But I didn't care I just kept thinking to myself how terribly embarassing it would be if I had to run to the sink and throw up in front of all of my students. Pretty embarassing so I held out. I don't know how I made it! I knew I couldn't make it through another period so I tracked down another teacher and I had to ask them if they would cover my fourth period so I could go home and rest a bit. They said they would. So I was off but I swear it took way longer than normal to get home. Every light was red!! Well I eventually made it home and here I have been trying to rest and get over it without the help of Leah needing me every half hour. Mom's don't get sick days!!!
The only good thing has been that Andrew has come home early and he is now here to help out with things while I get over this bug. Thank Goodness!!

Morgan,
Sounds like a bad day all right. You are fortunate to have nice co-workers to help while you were sick. I hope that it won't last long. Did Andrew get inspiration to come home early or was it thru wireless technology? About Kitty, I know from experience that cats like to go on long adventures during warmer winter days. I think it is likely she will return so be patient. Take care of yourself and get well soon.
Love, Dad
Wow that was a bad day. Do you just have a stomach flu bug? You are not pregnant again are you? SCARY. I am sorry I had a pretty good day except I got home late from work. I went and did a little DDR for my workout. The kids and I had a fun time. It was the most fun workout I have done in a long time. it flew by really fast. Hang in there hopefully it won't last long.
Just from our chat on Sunday, I know that you are not pregnant. Thank goodness!! Or maybe you both want to go boom, boom, boom. Hope you are feeling better today.
