Well this morning I got up, excited to dress Leah for the day and put her in her cute red coat for Valentine's Day. So here it is!
When I got to school I noticed that several of the classes were empty and there were an awful lot of students out in the halls. So I asked one of the teachers what was up and she informed me that it was a snow day and that classes would start two hours later. So that was exciting and I didn't have to teach until 11:15. The day went well other than the fact that my students were totally distracted and couldn't focus on what they were supposed to, mitosis and meiosis. Oh well.
When I got home I found this little "shrine" on our kitchen table. Cute! (notice the beach towel as the table cloth!)
Leah was fortunate to recieve several valentines from the kids at day care. Unfortunately she won't be able to partake of the delicious treats, fortunately for Andrew and I, we will!
Here she is posing next to her valentine pouch, craftily made by the loving ladies at Kinderbeets!
Leah eyeing the good stuff.
Let's see what's inside shall we?
HOLY COW!!!
Overall it has been a pretty good Valentine's for us but... it's not over yet!
