For Leah's birthday we went back to the Waller's house, they were wonderful hosts and had made Leah a beautiful and delicious pink birthday cake. Leah decorated it with fun princess candles.
A little more than four candles on the cake but that's okay.
She was very excited when we started to sing to her, she is really growing up and doing very big girl things. She loves to tell stories, ask many questions and seems to be learning so many things. She has a great memory, I'm impressed each day with her knowledge.
After cake she opened her presents, boots and clothes from Mom and Dad.
A Gospel ABC Book I made for her online.
As well as a big Preschool learning activity book. She loves preschool and has been doing so well that I thought she would enjoy practicing all her numbers and letters as well as some connect the dots and mazes.
From the Waller's she got a huge roll of butcher paper to put on this cool stand from IKEA. It is perfect because Leah and Lily both LOVE to draw! They are constantly taking papers from our printer and drawing all over them, mostly Steve from Blue's Clues. :)
It was a wonderful birthday and it was fun to be away from home and to be with the Waller's. For dinner they had us each make our own pizza's which were then cooked on a pizza stone on the grill outside. So fun and SOOO delicious! I have been craving those pizzas ever since, good thing I got the dough recipe now I just need to get a pizza stone. Thanks Waller's for such a fun stay, wish we could have stayed longer but I guess Andrew needed to get back to the farm... work, it's so overrated! :)
